Real extract
Thousands of photos.
One folder per vehicle.
Photos come off the card in shooting order, every rider mixed together. Sort them, and each rider gets a folder of their own, across every session.
A typical day: 3,000 photos
8 hours sorting by hand.
A few dozen minutes checking.
Replay a trackday, from the first corner to photos ready to deliver. Drag the slider or tap a step.
The same trackday, 3,000 photos, shooting from 9:00 to 18:00, then the drive home. By hand: a whole day of sorting the next day, editing the day after. With TrackSorter: your photos go up at every break and the analysis follows; the next morning, a few dozen minutes of checking, then editing. Photos ready a day earlier, about 7 hours back.
Sustainability
Faster.
So it uses less.
AI sorts in far less time than you do: where sorting by hand keeps a screen on for eight hours, the analysis is much faster and you are left with a few dozen minutes of checking. Less working time, less electricity: about 5 times less overall.
- No water used on site. Our servers are air-cooled, unlike large data centers that cool by evaporation.
- Analyzing 3,000 photos uses as much electricity as charging a 27,000 mAh power bank.
- French electricity. Among the lowest-carbon in the world: about 57 g of CO₂ per kWh.
A typical day: 3,000 photos
Electricity used
- Analysis on our servers: ≈ 0.1 kWh
- Your checking (1 hour at most): 0.28 kWh at most
CO₂ emitted, depending on where you sort ≈ 7× less

Every angle
Shoot your way.
The sorting follows.
TrackSorter recognizes each vehicle from every angle: it adapts to your style of photography, not the other way round. Front, side and rear, every photo of the same rider ends up together, in the same folder.
- Front, side and rear, all at once
- Vehicle partly hidden, by another one or by your framing
- No visible number: covered, blurred, at an angle or missing
Your workflow stays the same
Same method.
Minus the sorting.
Same cameras, same software, same habits. TrackSorter makes you more efficient and takes the dullest part of the job off your hands: sorting.
Shoot as usual
Any camera, several photographers: one subfolder per card or per photographer, and everything groups by rider.
Upload from the app
Windows, macOS or Linux, no graphics card. Internet required: about 1 GB for 3,000 photos, and 4G is enough.
Check the groups
Merge, split, rename. Unusable shots are set aside. Plan on a few dozen minutes for a typical day.
Get one folder per vehicle
Your originals are never modified: they are moved or copied, ready for Lightroom, Capture One or Photo Mechanic.

Live gallery
Riders find their photos while you keep shooting.
TrackSorter gives you an online gallery, sorted automatically as you upload. While you keep shooting, each participant only needs to find one of their photos to see all the others, from every session. Nothing to install for your riders.
- QR code at your stand, WhatsApp link or tablet. The gallery opens on the rider’s phone from your very first upload.
- Your visitors’ contact details. By default the gallery asks for an email before showing the photos, so you collect your visitors’ contacts (you can switch this off, e.g. for a QR code at the track).
- The sale stays yours. The gallery links to your own online shop, no commission.
- Watermarked photos with your name or logo. Your originals stay on your computer.

Pay for what you upload. Only the images you send are counted: about 1.1 credits per photo, so a typical day of 3,000 photos uses about 3,300 credits (about €33 in credit packs).
What does a sorted photo cost you?
Pick a profile or set your own numbers. Everything is calculated in your browser; nothing is sent.
Rule of thumb: a photo uses about 1.1 credits on average; a typical day of 3,000 photos uses about 3,300 credits, about €33 in credit packs.
Premium yearly: €540 a year, 60,000 credits included. Your 90,000 photos use about 99,900 credits: 39,900 more are needed. Cheapest way to cover them: 1 Big pack + 1 Medium pack (€340). Total €880 ÷ 90,000 photos = €0.0098 per photo.
Conservative estimate: 8 hours sorting by hand against at most 1 hour of checking (in practice a few dozen minutes) per 3,000 photos, so at least 7 hours saved; 1.11 credits per photo on average; included credits assumed fully used; cheapest pack mix; prices excluding VAT.
Cars and bikes, really both?
Yes, cars and bikes, every kind of track event. Bikes are sorted by rider, front, side or rear. Cars by vehicle, with the license plate helping when it is readable.
Do I need a powerful computer?
No. No graphics card: 8 GB of memory is enough, 16 GB recommended. Windows 10 or 11, macOS 12 or later (Apple M1 and newer), Linux. You need internet: about 1 GB for 3,000 photos, and 4G is enough.
What happens to my photos?
TrackSorter moves or copies the originals on your computer, one folder per vehicle, but never modifies them. The service is hosted in France.
How long does it take to sort a trackday?
Analysis runs in the background, so you can upload during the day. Then plan on a few dozen minutes of checking for a typical day.
RAW and video?
RAW files are supported from the Premium plan up. Videos are sorted with the photos of the same vehicle.
I pay from outside France. How does it work?
Prices are in euros. Outside the EU there is no VAT: the price shown is the amount you pay. Every purchase comes with a PDF invoice, and nothing renews without you.
What about energy use?
Sorting 3,000 photos with TrackSorter uses about 5 times less electricity than sorting them by hand for 8 hours on a workstation, checking included (counted as 1 hour, a high estimate). Our servers are in France and air-cooled, with no water used on site.
Estimate covering electricity use only. See the details
